A gift to the Catherine McAuley Center provides hope and opportunity for our neighbors.
All contributions to the Catherine McAuley Center support our clients on the critical path to self-sufficiency. Thanks to supporters like YOU, our neighbors find a welcoming space to learn new skills, form meaningful connections, and build bright futures.
Here, adult learners are welcomed to class where they gain the skills that better equip them to greet their neighbors, support their children’s learning, and match with the careers that best fit their talents.
Here, women who have experienced trauma and homelessness are welcomed home where they find a safe place to heal from trauma, form healthy relationships, and regain stability and a sense of hope for the future.
And here, refugees and immigrants are welcomed to the community where they receive the resources and education to navigate their surroundings and build a life in the United States, to not just survive, but thrive.
As we look ahead to 35 more years, we reflect on the incredible journey that has shaped the Catherine McAuley Center’s mission. What began as a vision to empower women seeking education has grown into a vibrant community that fosters support, opportunity, and hope for thousands.
Community support has made these services possible, empowering record-high numbers of individuals to attend classes, adapt to a new country, learn English, secure employment, find stable housing, and achieve their goals for a brighter future. These milestones go beyond numbers—they reflect decades of lives changed, dreams fulfilled, and lasting community bonds forged.
