Catherine McAuley Center provides flexible work schedules and a comprehensive benefits package. Part-Time, Hourly
The Finance Specialist is responsible for providing administrative support related to financial activities, including but not limited to processing and recording payables, processing payroll and benefits, reconciling expense accounts, and preparing checks.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field with equivalent experience is required, along with proficiency in Excel and financial accounting systems. Five years of nonprofit accounting experience is preferred.

Full-Time, Hourly
The Employment Services Case Manager supports refugees and immigrants in attaining self-sufficiency through employment by providing employment-related case management services and education about working in a U.S. context. Through partnership with area employers, this role also provides support to businesses seeking to improve their hiring and onboarding practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Political Science and/or related field with relevant experience is required. Experience working with refugees and/or immigrant populations and fluency in Swahili, French, Kinyarwanda, Kirundi, Pashto, Dari, or Arabic is preferred. Possession of a driver’s license and personal transportation and insurance required.

Be an agent of social change while building professional skills! AmeriCorps is a limited-term program ideal for individuals building work experience or looking to explore a change in career. Members must have a green card or U.S. citizenship to qualify for this program.

Volunteer interns support many programs at the Catherine McAuley Center. Internships allow you to use your unique skills and interests to build professional work experience.
Part-Time, Unpaid
The Development & Communications Intern will work closely with the Resource Development team to support fundraising, events, grants, outreach, and data management. This position will collaborate with stakeholders of other departments to learn about how philanthropy efforts impact the entire agency. As an intern, you will learn about the importance of messaging, media, and data management and analysis.

The Education Services Intern will offer administrative support to Education staff, act as a substitute tutor as needed, and assist with additional duties assigned by the Education Services Team Lead.

Join CMC’s team as a Language Lab Intern and help immigrants and refugees embrace opportunity through education! The Language Lab Intern will work with volunteers to offer English competency, and digital literacy support to CMC clients in our drop in computer lab.
