The Catherine McAuley Center invites you to get involved at any or all of our many annual events!
Immigration & Business Luncheon
This fundraiser for the Catherine McAuley Center features an educational session and a luncheon and awards ceremony honoring the accomplishments of immigrants in business and the organizations committed to their success!
Catherine’s Tea
Share a comfortable cup of tea in the spirit of Catherine McAuley! In place of this year’s in-person program, hear firsthand from those we serve who are making their own history with three community stories. Watch these videos of hope and resilience here.
Annual Celebration
Each June we honor the volunteers and financial supporters who offer hope and opportunity at CMC with a reception and program.
Family Picnic
Every August we come together with residents, students, tutors, volunteers, staff members and everyone’s families at a community potluck to celebrate the friendship and diversity built at the Center!
Women’s Equality Day Celebration
August 24
Every August we celebrate the anniversary of women gaining the right to vote at a lunchtime event on the CMC lawn! CMC’s Women’s Services Program hosts this celebration of women’s history, local female leaders, and women’s empowerment. Bring a cloth item to have screen printed with empowering slogans for a suggested donation of $5!
Living on the Edge: Poverty Immersion Experience
Explore the world of families who are living on the edge between stable housing and homelessness. Host a simulation for your club, church group, or place of work! All ages welcome.
Home Outreach Parties
Plan a get-together and share your passion for the CMC mission with family and friends! For example, in summer of 2016 several volunteers gathered for the gold and hosted Olympics home viewing parties while raising donations for CMC services.
