The Catherine McAuley Center (CMC) is a nonprofit organization in Cedar Rapids, Iowa that welcomes refugees and immigrants, adult learners, and women to participate in educational and supportive services. While CMC’s programs serve distinct populations, they are united by a common purpose of promoting the well-being and dignity of individuals in need, as Catherine McAuley did.

Employer Partners Needed – Hire Refugees & Immigrants!
With resettlement services suspended and resources limited, CMC is seeking urgent employment for 70 refugee and immigrant clients. This includes 30 newly arrived refugees who must secure jobs by March. If you have entry-level positions available, let us help you find hardworking employees!

There are many ways to get involved at CMC! We are currently seeking Online Tutors, Job Search Volunteers, Front Desk Welcoming Volunteers, and Admin/Office Volunteers.
