Mark your calendars and plan to join us for the 2024 Immigration & Business Luncheon – a celebration of the contributions of refugees and immigrants in our business community and workforce!
Award nominations are now open! Do you know someone who deserves recognition for their outstanding contributions to business in the Corridor? Nominate an individual or organization to be honored with an Immigration & Business Award!
Nominations will be carefully reviewed by an Awards Committee, and recipients will be selected and announced prior to the event. Award recipients will be honored and celebrated during the luncheon award ceremony.
Eligibility Criteria: Nominees must be employed or have a place of business within a 100-mile radius of Cedar Rapids. We ask that you complete only one form per nominee. If nominating multiple individuals or businesses, please complete a separate nomination form for each. Self-nominations are welcome too!
Deadline: Submit the online nomination form by Friday, January 12, 2024.
Welcoming Workplace Award: Large Company
(More than 50 employees/nationally based)
A business or organization that exemplifies inclusive and supportive practices in employing refugees and immigrants.
Welcoming Workplace Award: Small Company
(Fewer than 50 employees/locally owned)
A business or organization that exemplifies inclusive and supportive practices in employing refugees and immigrants.
Emerging Employee Award
An employee with the immigrant experience who demonstrates exemplary service and dedication in their role within an organization.
Outstanding Business Leader Award
An individual with the immigrant experience who demonstrates leadership in the business arena.
Young Entrepreneur & Leader Award
An individual under the age of 25, with the immigrant experience, who demonstrates exemplary leadership and community involvement.
