Donations from individuals and events make up approximately one-third of our budget. These gifts are key to providing the necessary resources for our Adult Basic Education and Transitional Housing programs. All contributions to the Catherine McAuley Center support our clients on the critical path to self-sufficiency.

Other Ways to Support CMC
Donate something on our wish list
Donate our most-needed items to stock our food & hygiene pantry or reduce our operational expenses. Certain items cannot be used by our clients and are not accepted due to limited storage space. View a list of items not accepted.
Please note: As of March 23, 2020, only donations of non-perishable food items, paper products, and cleaning supplies will be accepted until further notice to help keep our community healthy in the face of coronavirus.
By registering at AmazonSmile, 0.5% of your eligible online purchases will be donated to CMC!
Clean out your closet
Bring clothing or household goods you would otherwise throw out to Stuff, Etc. Quality Consignment on Blairs Ferry Road in the Catherine McAuley Center’s name. CMC will receive the proceeds, which typically add up to several hundred dollars each year! Donation receipt available upon request. Items are subject to Stuff’s usual restrictions.
Remember CMC in your will and trusts.
Consult your financial planner or call (319) 363-4993 to learn about how a planned gift to the Catherine McAuley Center can leave a lasting legacy on the Cedar Rapids community.
