Donations from individuals and events make up approximately one-third of our budget. These gifts are key to providing the necessary resources for our Education Services, Refugee & Immigrant Services, and Transitional and Supportive Housing programs. All contributions to the Catherine McAuley Center support our clients on the critical path to self-sufficiency.

Donate Items
Donate our most-needed items on our Wish List to stock our food & hygiene pantry or reduce our operational expenses. Certain items cannot be used by clients and are not accepted due to limited storage space. View a list of items not accepted.
- Please note: We are now partnering with Central Furniture Rescue to coordinate donations of furniture and other household items to reduce storage and moving costs, and dedicate more resources toward our core mission. Donate a Basket of Items
You can ensure refugee children have age-appropriate toys by creating Kids Kits or help new neighbors care for their homes by assembling Housewarming Baskets.

Host a Food or Supply Drive
Work with your club, workplace, or place of worship to collect food or supplies that directly support the mission of the Catherine McAuley Center! Collect items from our wishlist, gather household goods for a new refugee family, or get creative and host an event to benefit CMC! Information for Hosting a Food or Supply Drive
Donate Your Used Vehicle
You can donate a car, truck, van, motorcycle, boat, or an RV to CARS, and the proceeds from the sale will support CMC! CARS accepts most vehicles in almost any condition, from nearly any location. Spring Cleaning Donations
Bring clothing or household goods you would otherwise throw out to Stuff, Etc. Quality Consignment on Blairs Ferry Road in the Catherine McAuley Center’s name. CMC will receive the proceeds, which typically add up to several hundred dollars each year! Donation receipt available upon request. Items are subject to Stuff’s usual restrictions.
